A Reformed Evangelical Presbyterian Church

We Gather to Worship the Living God

We Come to Hear the Word of Christ

We Commit to Live in the Power of the Spirit

Sunday Worship Service    -     10:30 - 11:45am

We practice a traditional style of worship. We primarily sing hymns accompanied by our beautiful organ and piano. We also maintain the historic Reformed practice of singing the Psalms. The primary instrument in our worship is the uplifted voices of the congregation singing God's praise.

There is no official dress code. You may wear whatever is comfortable, so long as it is modest and appropriate for the occasion of public worship.

Childcare is available for children ages 5 and under.

Order of Worship

We follow the Regulative Principle of Worship, which says God gets to tell us what kind of worship pleases him. Acceptable worship must be biblical worship; we do not get to make it up as we go. At the same time, God gives the church freedom to arrange the biblical requirements of worship in whatever way is most edifying in different contexts.

In crafting the order of worship, we observe the seasons of the liturgical calendar, follow a lectionary for our Scripture readings, confess the historic creeds of the church, and recite the Lord's Prayer in every service. We also celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month. The centerpiece of our worship is the reading and preaching of God's word. The sermon text is not tied to the lectionary, which gives us freedom to read and preach the whole counsel of God.

Location

Through most of the year, services are held upstairs in the sanctuary. During the summer months, worship services are held in the fellowship hall. Both are wheelchair accessible.
